About Me
First and foremost, I consider myself a storyteller. My journey started in high school as a yearbook editor. Quickly, I fell in love with providing people with a platform to share their lives and memorializing it in something they can look back on for the rest of their lives. I pivoted my entire career path upon realizing this drive. At the University of Michigan, I became the producer of WOLV-TV's least-viewed show and, in just two years, lead my crew to the Best Show of 2018 award. My professional career began in 2016 as a sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network and after graduating I continued my production work with Fox Sports Detroit (later renamed Bally Sports Detroit).
For three years, I had the opportunity to be a Feature Producer for Fox Sports Detroit. During this time, I traveled the state of Michigan telling the stories of young people who were doing extraordinary things, overcoming unbeatable odds, and assuring others they were not alone. I describe myself as passionate about passionate people. As someone who finds themselves picking up a new hobby every couple of months, I enjoy nothing more than listening to enthusiastic people talking about why you should love what they do. Ideally, I hope to build a career following fervent doers who see the world in unique, and at times, bizarre ways. |
Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world.” In December 2021, I made the decision to leave my home state and my job with Fox Sports for Park City, Utah. Not knowing anyone and having never been to the state, I had no idea what would ensue. Quickly, I fell in love with Utah with all the beauty and adventure it had to offer. Despite planning on staying only for a short stint, I chose to put down my roots here and see what else the American West had to offer.
Currently, I am based in Salt Lake City and freelance in both video and photo when I can. For the past year I have been a producer and client/project manager for Content Kitchen Studio. In my free time, you can most likely find me hiking, skiing, or climbing. When not outdoors, I enjoy playing guitar, painting, and (poorly) knitting. |
